2002 Lane Council of Governments Data:
- Data is available on two CDs either as a coverage or in shapefile format.
- For your convenience, most of the coverages have been converted to shapefiles and are available on the GIS Lab workstations.
- Data is in a different projection than the 2004 LCOG dataset, and there are slight alignment errors upon re-projection.
- Parcel data has no assessed value or ownership data: it is simply the geocoded parcel boundaries.
- If you have any questions about the LCOG data, please contact the MAP/GIS Librarian.
- For more information about LCOG, visit their website at http://lcog.org.
Data access is limited to UO faculty, staff and students and must be used for academic purposes only. Please bring UO Identification with you.

Projection Information
Please note that LCOG changed its standard projection between 2002 and 2004. 2002 data is in:
Projection: Oregon State Plane Coordinates; South Zone
Datum: NAD27
Units: Feet
Users wanting to use both State Government Data (Lambert Conformal Conic Projection) from the OGDC website and LCOG data will need to re-project their data.
