• data.gov  Find, download, and use datasets that are generated and held by the Federal Government. Data.gov provides descriptions of the Federal datasets (metadata), information about how to access the datasets, and tools that leverage government datasets. Federal, Executive Branch data are included in the first version of Data.gov. See also Consumer data.gov "a centralized federal resource for Smart Disclosure" that includes datasets "that can help enable consumer choice", apps to help you make better/easier use of data, and challenges for app developers.
• Fedstats: The Federal Interagency Council on Statistical Policy maintains this site to provide easy access to statistical data from federal agencies. Fedstats includes a listing of the various Federal agencies that have statistical data on the web.
