Data Services Lab (UO)
A component of the Social Sciences Instructional Labs at the UO which provides access to on- and off- campus social science data for UO faculty and students.

data.gov  Find, download, and use datasets that are generated and held by the Federal Government. See also Consumer data.gov "a centralized federal resource for Smart Disclosure" that includes datasets "that can help enable consumer choice".

Data-Planet Statistical Datasets off-campus access limited to UO provides easy access to an extensive repository of standardized and structured statistical data. The Data-Planet repository contains more than 90 billion data points from more than 65 source organizations. Downloadable in Excel, SAS, and .csv formats.

Gapminder
Datasets from a variety of international sources. Topics: demographic, social , economic, health, environmental. Downloadable as Excel files only. Also includes a visualization tool.
