Trial Databases

The UO Library has trial access to the databases listed below. As part of the evaluation process, we would like to receive comments from library patrons about the usefulness of these databases. Comments can be submitted in the box at the bottom of the page. When you select the link for the database, the database will open in a new window, allowing you to easily return to this window to submit comments.

Berliner Philharmoniker

The Berliner Philharmoniker's Digital Concert Hall video streams classical music concerts to your tablet, smartphone, smartTV or PC. The sound quality is similar to that of a CD and the picture quality similar to HD television. Every season we offer over 40 live streams of concerts which are later added to the archive. Hundreds interviews with the soloists offer exclusive and personal background information. Watch and listen to classical music's finest conductors and soloists performing with the Berliner Philharmoniker – live as it happens or on-demand as it suits you.

Chinese Students’ Monthly Online

The Chinese Students’ Monthly is the first magazine published by Chinese students in the United States from 1906-1931. This publication became the official organ of the enlarged Chinese student organization: The Chinese Students’ Alliance in the US. During its publication, the periodical discussed all the important movements in China during that period of time: education, social, industrial, agricultural, political, and economical, etc.

Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature (CINAHL)

CINAHL provides indexing of the top nursing and allied health literature available including nursing journals and publications from the National League for Nursing, and the American Nurses' Association. Literature covers a wide range of topics including nursing, biomedicine, health sciences librarianship, alternative/complementary medicine, consumer health and 17 allied health disciplines.
