Trial Databases

The UO Library has trial access to the databases listed below. As part of the evaluation process, we would like to receive comments from library patrons about the usefulness of these databases. Comments can be submitted in the box at the bottom of the page. Drama Online

The award-winning Drama Online introduces new writers alongside the most iconic names in playwriting history, providing contextual and critical background through scholarly works and practical guides.

This constantly growing collection meets the full range of teaching needs for theatre studies, literature courses and drama schools. Naxos Music Library

Naxos Music Library offers streaming audio access to more than 120,280 CD-length recordings equivalent to 1,758,900 tracks uploaded, with addition of over than 800 CD-length recordings every month, spanning Classical, Jazz, World, Classic Rock, and Nostalgia music. The online access includes program notes, cover artwork, tracklist, instrumentation and publisher information, libretti and synopses of more than 700 operas.

Naxos Music Library features the complete catalogues or selected recordings of over 770 labels such as BIS, Capriccio, Chandos, CPO, CSO Resound, Decca, Deutsche Grammophon, Erato, Dynamic, Finlandia, Grand Piano, Hänssler Classic, Harmonia Mundi, Hungaroton, LSO Live, Marco Polo, Naïve, Naxos, New York Philharmonic, Nimbus, Nonesuch, Ondine, Orfeo, PentaTone, RCA Records, Sony Classical, Teldec, Universal Classics, Vanguard Classics, Warner Classics, Warner Classics - Parlophone (former EMI Classics) and many more.
