Finding Videos

The UO Libraries holds about 14,000 items in a variety of moving image formats (DVDs, videotapes, laserdiscs, 16mm films, and online streaming video) which cover all disciplines.

All videotapes and films owned by the UO Libraries can be located using the UO Local Catalog. The catalog offers the ability to limit your search to look only for videos.

• DVDs and laserdiscs are located in the Knight Library Audio & Video Room (Douglass Room)
• Videotapes are located at the Knight Library Checkout/Reserve Desk
• 16mm films are located in the Center for Media & Educational Technologies (CMET).
• Online streaming video is located in various online databases (see below).
• Some videos are located in branch libraries. The Library Catalog will list the location of each title.
