Library Diversity Fund
The University of Oregon Libraries has long upheld the value of diversity* in all its forms. Through visual displays, multi-media, books and DVDs, we have strived to encourage and foster these values. This year, the Library Diversity Committee recognized the need to further enhance our collection of diversity-related materials and to meet that need, has set up the Library Diversity Fund. This $10,000 annual allocation is open to all members of the University community. Students, staff, groups, and faculty alike may nominate materials for possible purchase by submitting their request online. In January 2013 we will announce which nominated items have been selected to be added to our permanent collection.
This year's nomination deadline has passed. Please think about nominating something for next year!
If you have questions, please contact Victoria Mitchell, Chair of the Library Diversity Committee.
