Miriam received her MLIS from University of Washington, an MA in the Social Sciences (Cultural Anthropology) from the University of Chicago, and her BA in Cultural Anthropology from Reed College. She has worked at the UO Libraries since 2008, as subject specialist for the departments of Anthropology, Sociology, and Indigenous, Race & Ethnic Studies, and supports a number of other program areas such as African Studies, Food Studies, South Asian Studies, and Museum Studies. Miriam is also one of the UO Libraries' leads for Open Access and Scholarly Communications.
