Monday - Friday
Regular hours: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Break hours: 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM

CMET Consulting (Knight Library Room 19) is normally open 9:00 AM until 6:00 PM Monday through Friday during the term. Intersession hours are from 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM throughout the year. Drop in for a visit any time or call in advance to reserve a computer or a consultant -- 346-1942.

Calendar

Consulting will be closed whenever the Knight Library building is closed, and in addition will be closed on the following university faculty holidays: Martin Luther King's Birthday, Memorial Day, day after Thanksgiving.

Appointments

Drop-in and telephone consulting and training are available whenever the Consulting is open.

To ensure that the consultant and hardware you need are available, we recommend that you schedule an appointment in advance. Workstations that are not reserved in advance are available on a first-come, first-served basis (maximum of two hours per session). Calling in advance also allows us to make sure that the staff member on duty will be prepared to help you with your particular questions.

You can make an appointment by calling 346-1942 during scheduled drop-in hours.

You can also call to make an appointment for an office visit. We will attempt to schedule a visit to your office within two weeks to provide you the training you need.

Blackboard

The UO Blackboard course information system is normally available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, with a few exceptions. See the detailed Blackboard schedule, Blackboard News, and IS Status website for information.

Emergency response to Blackboard outages is available by calling Library Systems, at 346-3049, during times the Knight Library is open.

Consulting for students in the use of Blackboard is available through the Computer Help Desk during times the Knight Library is open.

Consulting for faculty in the use of Blackboard is available at CMET Consulting (Room 19). Second level technical support is available by email, blackboard@ithelp.uoregon.edu at most times, although full time staff are typically on site 8:00 AM - 5 PM Monday-Friday.
