Visiting Other Libraries
UO students, faculty and staff visiting any of these libraries may checkout items there: Northwest Christian University, Oregon Library Passport Program libraries, participating members of the the Greater Western Library Alliance (GWLA), or any member institution of the Orbis Cascade Alliance Consortium (Summit).
Summit libraries not only allow UO students, faculty and staff to checkout their materials onsite, but after you are registered to borrow at a Summit library you can select that library as your preferred pickup location for Summit material (visiting patrons may not use ILL). You may be required to show ID and log in to your UO account to verify current enrollment or employment.
UO faculty planning to do research at another Association of Research Libraries-OCLC library may be issued an ARL-OCLC card which provides free onsite borrowing at any of those libraries. Please contact Laura Willey (Head, Access Services) before you leave town.
