GTF Positions in the UO Library
GRADUATE TEACHING FELLOWSHIPS
The UO Libraries are currently accepting applications for the following positions. Any UO student enrolled in a graduate program for Fall 2016 may apply. Applicants may apply for more than one position if they feel qualified, but must apply separately and indicate which position they are applying for.
- Research Data Management Assistant, Science Library. (Closes: May 4, 2015)
- Music Services Specialist, Music Services. (Closes: May 6, 2015)
The Library advertises positions at the Graduate School jobsite and the Graduate Teaching Fellows Federation each spring. Some assignments are renewable, pending satisfactory service and available funding. To be eligible, students must be enrolled in a graduate program for the upcoming term of appointment for a minimum of 9 graduate credit hours toward the degree throughout the term.
GTFs appointed at .20 FTE (10 hours per week) and above are exempt from payment of the instruction fee for up to 16 credit hours taken in any term to which the appointment applies. Salary depends on FTE and GTF level of employment (doctoral candidates may be appointed at higher levels, depending on prior experience).
